About Us

The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority is on a mission to embed equality, diversity, and inclusion into every aspect of its work. Building on the success of the Fairness and Social Justice Advisory Board, we’ve established Equality Panels to address key areas, including Disability, Race, Gender, and Sexuality.

Opportunity Knocks

We are currently recruiting at least 10 dynamic individuals to become Equality Champions for Disability (minimum of three vacancies), Race (minimum of five vacancies), LGBTQIA+ (minimum of one vacancy) and Women’s Equity (minimum of one vacancy).

As a panel member, you’ll play a crucial role in influencing decision-making processes within the Combined Authority and shaping policies that impact the lives of people from marginalised groups.

Who We’re Looking For:

We are committed to amplifying the voices of those who are often underrepresented. If you have experience of championing equality and come from a marginalised group, especially those with sensory impairments such as deaf or blind individuals, please contact us.

Your Impact:

Joining the Equality Panels means you’ll contribute to shaping the future of the Liverpool City Region.  From Employment and Skills to Transportation and the Environment, your insights will make a real difference.

Panel members will be appointed for a three-year term, with annual elections to choose panel chairs from within.
