What is it like to train with us?

What is the LCRCA Aspire Discover Training Programme?

This 12-month full-time training programme is for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic residents of the Liverpool City Region, hosted by LCRCA and starting in March 2025. Applications go live on 25th November 2024.

Trainees will complete the programme as a group, and the training provided includes: learning about yourself, learning about the organisation, learning about and gaining support in finding the right next opportunity, and networking. Trainees will also be supported to achieve a recognised Project Management Qualification from the Association for Project Management (APM).

Trainees will receive a £19,000 bursary (awarded monthly over the 12 months) and a travel pass to help with living costs and support access to the programme.

What does the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority do?

We provide local services for people across the region, including trains and buses, education and employment programmes, safer cycle routes, housing support and ferry services. We support local businesses to start and grow and help households find work. We also help provide access, skills and equipment for people who do not have access to the internet.
