Growing the Liverpool City Region Economy
Our devolution deal means that we are taking control of the important decisions that matter to our city region and can invest our money in the things that will bring the biggest benefits locally. With the simple aim of becoming a truly global city region, this means we can make the Liverpool City Region the best possible place to live, work, play and grow old. But we are not just thinking long term. We are delivering real benefits for real people, right now. On top of our £900 million devolution deal, the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority has secured more than half a billion pounds in additional funding from government, including: The investments that we’ve already made in our first three years will deliver 9,000 jobs and 5,500 apprenticeships for local people.
