The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority Brokerage Team support employers by providing advice and guidance to enable them to develop their workforce through vocational training routes including Apprenticeships. As part of a commitment to provide ongoing support to employers across the City Region, they will:

  • Provide advice and guidance on how to maximise Apprenticeship funding
  • Advice and support around Levy Transfers between employers
  • Identify current training needs and how these can be mapped to Apprenticeship standards and frameworks
  • Source an appropriate training provider to deliver Apprenticeships, ensuring they fully consider the needs of the business
  • Signpost grants and other funding streams for non-apprenticeship training programmes (where applicable)
