What is the Digital Inclusion Network?
The Digital Inclusion Network brings together organisations from across Liverpool City Region who play a role in supporting the digital inclusion agenda. Its vision is to create a digitally inclusive Liverpool City Region where no one is left behind.
Its core goals include:
- Building a coordinated and connected digital inclusion ecosystem across Liverpool City Region.
- Supporting organisations across the city region to deliver digital inclusion activities in a sustainable way.
- Increase awareness and understanding of the digital inclusion agenda and help influence system-level change across the city region.
Background to the Network
Our approach to digital inclusion has been to acknowledge and support the incredible amount of work already taking place across the region, adding value from the Combined Authority to help co-ordinate activity and support our residents.
A Digital Inclusion Taskforce was established in January 2023, bringing together a wide range of stakeholders across LCR – with priorities identified through various sub-groups. This included the need to establish a DI Network, build a Digital Champions Programme and work with national organisations to leverage support across our six authorities.
