The successful applicant will be required to provide professional, high quality support to ensure the efficient running of formal meetings of the organisation, which will involve producing agendas, attending meetings and preparing minutes and providing support to the team.
The successful applicant will have good communication, written and oral skills and have previous
office administration experience. You will have experience of servicing formal meetings and the
ability to prepare agendas and take accurate minutes with precision and clarity. It would also be
helpful to have experience of Microsoft Teams meetings as all meetings are currently being
conducted this way.
You should be enthusiastic, flexible, proactive, confident, tactful and diplomatic, have an ability to take minutes with precision and clarity, the ability to work under your own motivation and initiative and as part of a team, time management skills, organisational skills and the ability to prepare documents with attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
You must have a good all round standard of education including English Language GCSE (or equivalent). It would be beneficial for you to have or be undertaking NVQ Level 4 or HNC Business Administration or equivalent. Experience in public sector and Modern.Gov, webcasting or other similar Democratic Services electronic systems and Microsoft Teams would be desirable but not essential.
