Mersey Ferries are one of Merseyside’s most visited tourist attractions offering River Cruises, Evening Cruises, Manchester Ship Canal Cruises and the U-Boat.
To deliver our service throughout the busy summer period, we need to recruit a number of temporary Customer Assistants, to work a minimum, average 20 hours per week including weekends and bank holidays. Applicants should be available to start from April and if you are a student, we are able to work around existing study commitments between April and June, in order to get the right candidate. Working at any of our terminals or attractions, you must have a flexible approach to working hours as you may be offered up to 35 hours during seasonal peaks. The right candidate must be prepared to be called on at short notice and be available to work every bank holiday throughout the summer. Our Ferry terminals and attractions are located at Liverpool Pier Head, Woodside or Seacombe.
You should have a high standard of personal presentation, good numeracy and computer skills, a friendly disposition, an outgoing personality and be genuinely committed to providing excellent customer service.
Although previous customer service experience will be helpful, we are looking for the right attitude and great communications skills. Full training and uniform will be provided.
