The Finance function has a critical role in assisting the authority manage and account for its investment funds which are come through a range of government backed initiatives and are consolidated into a single capital pot, which is known as the Strategic Investment Fund (SIF). These funds represent the levers that authority has to make strategic investments across the city region to assist in the achievement of devolution objectives.
We are seeking to recruit to 2 SIF Officer posts to support the function effectively dispense with its responsibilities as the accountable body for these funds through the effective processing and recording of grant and loan payments through the ledger.
You will be AAT qualified with evidence and commitment to continuous personal and professional development. We are looking for candidates with strong analytical and communication skills with the drive and determination to make a positive contribution. You must be enthusiastic, motivated, determined to deliver results and be able to work as part of a busy multi disciplinary team.
