This is an exciting and challenging role for an enthusiastic and experienced Mechanical Engineer who will undertake a senior role in delivering all aspects of an integrated mechanical engineering services maintenance function for Merseytravel assets.
The post holder will be the technical lead for a small team which will deliver an effective and efficient mechanical systems maintenance function for Merseytravel covering reactive and planned maintenance works, mechanical plant refurbishment, term contractor management and record keeping, document control, statutory and non-statutory regulations compliance, production of specifications and technical reports and the development and implementation of capital projects.
The post holder will require excellent communications skills and a customer focused approach to service delivery. A knowledge and understanding of current health and safety requirements is expected from the post holder.
