Job Description:

Research and Intelligence Support Officer

The LCRCA is seeking to recruit a Research and Intelligence Support Officer with the skills, experience, and passion to help us create a truly global and competitive City Region at the heart of the Northern Powerhouse.

This is a particularly exciting time to join the team, as we prepare to design and deliver a number of key strategic policies, including our Local Industrial Strategy, that will provide an ambitious blueprint for the future of the City Region.

Working in our Evidence, Research and Intelligence team within the Policy and Strategic Commissioning Directorate, this role will help to inform policy-making, ensuring that it rests on a strong foundation of evidence and intelligence.

As such, the successful candidate will have the skills and experience to effectively analyse, interpret, and communicate key developments across the external policy and research environment, including local, national, and international policy statements, statistical releases and research reports relevant to the Combined Authority’s key policy areas.

But most of all, we are looking for team members who are innovative, self-motivated and collaborative in their approach, who demonstrate a commitment to evidence-based policy making, and who share our determination to deliver for the people of the Liverpool City Region.
