The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority is creating a new team of delivery professionals to lead on some of the most exciting and transformational projects and programmes in our City Region.
As the accountable body for the LCR Freeport, the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority (LCRCA) is looking to appoint a Freeport Project Manager to lead the delivery of the LCR Freeport and its strategic objectives. We are seeking someone who will support the Freeport Director to facilitate the Freeport delivery programme, working closely with local stakeholders and Government Departments on a range of complex issues including trade, taxation, inward investment and skills.
Based initially in the LCRCA, the Freeport Project Manager will work closely with the Director of the Freeport Management Team, Board Members and a Steering Group to move the Freeport into the delivery phase. Responsible for the Freeport Programme delivery to support effective implementation and deliver the long-term benefits afforded by the Freeport.
This is a high profile and important role, which requires an ability to think both strategically and operationally, so we are seeking an individual who can share their skills, experience and passion for the future of the Liverpool City Region Freeport and its positive contribution to the economy.
With industry-leading expertise and a proven track record of delivering programmes, you will be able to navigate complex negotiations and provide sound technical advice.
You will be a highly effective communicator, able to build credibility and successful relationships with stakeholders in both the public and private sector.
As Project Manager, you will occupy a senior position in the Freeport Management team. Not only will you lead this innovative and complex programme delivery, but you will also help to develop our function and management team.
Your mission will be to deliver the outputs associated with a group of interrelated projects on time, to budget and to the right standard as well as being responsible for the realisation of programme benefits.
You will undertake all aspects of the planning, management, co-ordination of a number of this exciting project, cutting across multiple business functions in a range of sectors including infrastructure, transport, nett zero ,digital and economic growth
