The LCRCA is seeking to recruit a Lead Economic Analyst with the skills, experience, and passion to help us create a globally competitive, environmentally sustainable and inclusive City Region at the heart of the Northern Powerhouse.
Working in our Evidence, Research and Intelligence team within the Policy and Strategic Commissioning Directorate, this role will use data and analysis to inform policy-making, ensuring that it rests on a strong foundation of evidence and intelligence. It will also support the work of the Commercial Development and Investment Team by carrying out economic appraisals, developing business case submissions for the Strategic Investment Fund (SIF). The successful candidate will have the skills and experience to effectively analyse and interpret data, clearly communicate key messages from the data, assess the economic impact of investment projects, and build effective working relationships across a range of stakeholders. But most of all, we are looking for team members who are innovative, self-motivated and collaborative in their approach, who demonstrate a commitment to evidence-based policy making, and who share our determination to deliver for the people of the Liverpool City Region.
