Job Description:

This team will work to together to aid the delivery of Liverpool’s Housing First pilot programme. Housing First is an internationally evidence-based approach, which uses independent, stable housing as a platform to enable individuals to begin recovery and move away from homelessness. Following Central Government’s allocation of £7.7 million to the Liverpool City Region in 2018 to end Homelessness, the LCRCA set out its goal of implementing the region’s first Housing First pilot programme.

The Housing First pilot programme will be delivered in conjunction with existing programmes throughout the city region and will help complement steps already being taken by councils and their partners to alleviate homelessness. If successful, this pilot service will provide evidence of the impact of the Housing First model at a scale that could make a significant difference to how homelessness services are commissioned and delivered in the future. Positively impacting the way homelessness people are supported in our city region.

For the role of Administration Officer we are looking for an individual who is not only passionate about working as part of the Housing First team but has experience of providing a high-quality administrative service, has good organisational skills, enjoys and has experience in a customer-centred role and has a basic understanding of finance processes, including petty cash administration, raising purchase orders and coding invoices.

As an Administration Officer for the Homelessness team, you will work to support the Housing First team in a range of activities to ensure effective and high-quality delivery. You will cover a range of functions including diary management, finance process administration and meeting administration.
