Liverpool City Region is a place of pioneers, where new developments are forged, and creativity and innovation are unleashed. This spirit of development is applied to all of our work, and we are focusing this now on improving the support for people who are unable to work due to their health conditions. Organising the support around their needs is needed to make this a long term and sustainable impact.
We have secured funding from the Health Foundation as part of their Economies for Healthier Lives Programme to deliver further integration between health and employment services, to improve outcomes for people. Working closely with both University of Liverpool and Liverpool John Moores University, we will develop a robust evidence base to underpin this work and ensure that the voice of service users is at the heart of developments.
If you want to be a pioneer in improving outcomes across health and employment services, we want to hear from you. We are looking for a programme manager to help navigate and implement this programme, as part of our broader systems leadership approach. You will demonstrate commitment, an ability to develop relationships, strategic delivery and an understanding of this service landscape.
