Job Description:

Digital Connectivity Project Manager     up to £43,000

 

Working closely with our 6 Local Authorities and other stakeholders, we have already identified an indicative 260+ km initial fibre spine route (and costings) interlinking key assets throughout the City Region to realise this. We are now detailing the associated approaches and commercial model, developing the full business case to secure funding, and procuring key technical services. This will catalyse further investment and roll out of local fibre networks, in tandem with other key developments, e.g. digitisation of the 120km Merseyrail network, expansion of our innovative 5G testbed, £2billion Knowledge Quarter Liverpool, and the world-leading application of high performance and cognitive computing by the STFC Hartree Centre in partnership with IBM Research.

The LCR Combined Authority (CA) is seeking a dynamic Project Manager, with demonstrable experience of successfully delivering complex infrastructure projects (preferably with a digital/telecoms focus), to play a key role in the delivery of this ambitious programme.
