We currently have an exciting opportunity for an apprenticeship working within the Metro Mayor’s Office that will enable the successful candidate to achieve a Business Administration Apprenticeship (Level 3).
Each year we look for a remarkable candidate to access our 13-month Business Administration Apprenticeship programme to provide efficient and effective administrative services to the Metro Mayor’s Office.
Applicants must be able to communicate effectively and perform a variety of administration and reception duties, and preferably will hold a full UK Drivers Licence.
The post will be demanding so we are looking for a candidate who is ready for the challenge of working in a busy and exciting office environment and directly with the leaders of the City Region. You will need to be able to demonstrate great communication, organisation and team working skills. Previous work experience in an office environment is desirable but not essential.
During your 13 month apprenticeship you will be gaining a unique range of valuable, transferable administration skills and experiences that will enable you to further your career.
You will work 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, working 9am to 5pm, which includes a 1 hour unpaid lunch break. However, some flexibility will be required, as you may be required to accompany the Metro Mayor to events outside of normal working hours.
