This role will provide practical support to the Bus Team’s management team in delivering projects and programmes which support the LCRCA’s Vision for Bus, including the deployment of the North of England’s first hydrogen-powered buses, improving the bus offer through the Green Bus Routes programme, delivering the bus offer in partnership with bus operators through our award-winning Bus Alliance, and assessing options for reforming bus services.
The role will involve working with a wide range of internal and external partners including senior managers, consultants and bus operators. It will also provide capacity within the Bus Team to assist with the ongoing delivery of services and the restart of the transport network, as the City Region delivers its Economic Recovery Plan.
The role, reporting directly to the Assistant Director for Bus and working closely with the Bus Strategy Programme Manager, provides both administrative and project support to the team. This includes liaising with colleagues to prepare for and deliver working groups, steering groups, liaison meetings and board meetings. The work is high profile and fast paced and will make a real difference to the life chances of people who live and work in the Liverpool City Region.
You will be expected to role model the organisation’s behaviours of LCR First, Respect and Action Focused.
