The finalists in the 2020 Liverpool City Region Culture and Creativity Awards have been chosen from more than 700 nominations in a huge show of support for the cultural sector across the whole city region.

The winners were named at a glittering ceremony held at the Lady Lever Art Gallery in this year's Borough of Culture - Wirral.
Six of the finalists – those for the People’s Choice award - will now go to a public vote.
