Youth Hub Assistant Officer Role (x2)

Please note – this is a Kickstart Scheme Role. Only those aged 16-24 on Universal Credit are eligible. 

Employer: Liverpool City Region Combined Authority  Location: Liverpool Salary: Pro Rata £18,471 Contract: 25 Hours Per Week

A unique opportunity to work within the Employment & Skills Team at the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority as a Youth Hub Assistant Officer. This role will perform a wide range of duties across programmes related to the CA’s Youth Hub Initiative and associated projects. Part of this role will be focused on supporting the marketing and promotion of the youth agenda, utilising social media engagement, website development and bespoke events. Each role will also be able to help aid the development of related projects in the team, including NHS/Social Care Careers Engagement, as part of our Health Education England Partnership. Additional duties to support the team may also be required. This is a 25 hour p/week role, paid at a pro-rata salary of £18,471.

Head of Centre for Educational Leadership

The School of Education – in the Faculty of APSS at LJMU, is seeking to recruit a dynamic leader for our exciting new Centre for Educational Leadership (CEL). As Head of the Centre, you will provide operational and strategic leadership for ambitious development and successful growth.

This is a key leadership role within the School of Education and the post-holder will be part of the School’s senior management team.

The core purpose of the CEL is to act as an integrated hub; bringing together education leaders from across the sectors and other educational leadership and research/policy roles, to become a leading centre of excellence in leadership learning, knowledge exchange and practice. An innovative portfolio of leadership development provision will form a key element of the CEL work. You will therefore need experience in academic programme development and quality assurance, and also in developing or co-ordinating access to related professional learning. There is considerable emphasis in the role on internal and external relationships and collaboration, so a proven-track record with stakeholders for visible impact is essential.
