Head of Centre for Educational Leadership
Employer: Liverpool John Moores Location: Liverpool, School of Education Contract: Full Time Salary: £61.8K – £67.5K
The School of Education – in the Faculty of APSS at LJMU, is seeking to recruit a dynamic leader for our exciting new Centre for Educational Leadership (CEL). As Head of the Centre, you will provide operational and strategic leadership for ambitious development and successful growth.
This is a key leadership role within the School of Education and the post-holder will be part of the School’s senior management team.
The core purpose of the CEL is to act as an integrated hub; bringing together education leaders from across the sectors and other educational leadership and research/policy roles, to become a leading centre of excellence in leadership learning, knowledge exchange and practice. An innovative portfolio of leadership development provision will form a key element of the CEL work. You will therefore need experience in academic programme development and quality assurance, and also in developing or co-ordinating access to related professional learning. There is considerable emphasis in the role on internal and external relationships and collaboration, so a proven-track record with stakeholders for visible impact is essential.
