Liverpool City Region Combined Authority website launched today.

You can now keep up-to-date with the latest investments, news and proposals for the Liverpool City Region on a new website launched today.

The website www.www.liverpoolcityregion-ca.gov.uk contains everything you need to know about the work the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority is doing on your behalf.

Established in April 2014, but re-constituted as a Mayoral Combined Authority in May of this year, the Combined Authority is chaired by the Liverpool City Region Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram. It includes representatives from all six local authority areas making up the Liverpool City Region – Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, St Helens, Sefton and Wirral – as well as the Local Enterprise Partnership, Merseytravel and the Police and Crime Commissioner.

Since coming into post on 8 May 2017, the Metro Mayor has assigned a range of portfolios that will drive forward the City Region’s Devolution Agreement (and allocate over £900m of funding over the next 30 years), accelerate economic growth and improve the local area for residents, businesses, investors and visitors alike.

At www.www.liverpoolcityregion-ca.gov.uk, you’ll find out who the Combined Authority is, what it does, access to all of the previous meeting papers, as well as the forthcoming meeting dates, frequently asked questions, how to contact the Combined Authority and the latest job opportunities. Plus, you can keep up-to-date on what’s happening across the Liverpool City Region with the Metro Mayor’s blog.

Steve Rotheram, said:

“It’s great to launch our new website today, which is the ‘go to’ place for information about the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority. There is so much going on in the City Region as we progress our Devolution Agreement with Government meaning that funding and decisions are being made locally about a number of key priority issues including transport, employment and skills and economic development.

It’s vitally important that we are as transparent and accessible as possible. We want to engage and include communities in every part of the City Region, so I want to encourage people to visit the site, find out what’s going on and save www.www.liverpoolcityregion-ca.gov.uk in your favourites!”
