“Today, the Metro Mayor and officials from the Liverpool City Region Combined Authority and the RMT Union met to discuss the resolution of outstanding issues with regards to the role of staff on the new trains for the Merseyrail network.
“The talks were constructive and built upon previous dialogue. We have re-established communication and committed to holding a series of workshops in the forthcoming weeks to progress the outstanding issues.”
