If you’re a Liverpool City Region resident or employer you could be entitled to funded skills training to help you or your staff brush up on your digital skillsets. Learn more about the broad range of digital training available to you.

Adult Education Budget

The Adult Education Budget (AEB) aims to engage adults (aged 19 and over) who are resident in Liverpool City Region to provide the skills and learning they need to equip them for work, an apprenticeship or other learning. Through the Digital Skills Entitlement, adults who lack digital skills can obtain free qualifications to address skill shortages.

Skills Bootcamps for the Workplace

Skills Bootcamps for the Workplace provide flexible hands-on courses of up to 16 weeks in duration, which are part of the UK Government’s Plan For Jobs and Lifetime Skills Guarantee. Through the Bootcamps, LCR residents & employers are eligible for a range of digital courses.

Be More – Priority Training Support

Through Metro Mayor Steve Rotheram’s flagship Be More programme, LCR employers can access fully funded digital training for their staff via the Priority Training Support Fund. There are a selection of shorter IT courses that eligible employers can register for.
