LCR Culture & Creativity Awards – #LCRCultureAwards2021 Facebook Competition

  1. The promoter

The promoter is Liverpool City Region Combined Authority of 1 Mann Island, Liverpool, L3 1BP (the “Promoter”).

  1. The Prize Draw
    • The title of the prize draw is #LCRCultureAwards2021 part of the LCR Culture & Creativity Awards 202
    • The #LCRCultureAwards2021 prize draw is run in conjunction with the LCR Culture & Creativity Awards, a live and online event which will take place on Wednesday 2 March 2022.
    • The prize draw is open to anyone currently living or working in the Liverpool City Region. This includes; Halton, Knowsley, Liverpool, Sefton, St Helens and Wirral.
    • To enter the prize draw you need to like and share the post and sign up to watch the awards online at
    • The prize draw is open to anyone aged over 18 years and multiple entries can be made by an individual.
    • The winner will be announced live on the night during the ceremony of the LCR Culture & Creativity Awards on Wednesday 2 March and on the LCR Combined Authority Facebook page.
  2. How to enter
    • Entries will be accepted from Monday 21 February 2022 (the “Opening Date“) to 12:00 noon on Tuesday 1 March 2022 (the “Closing Date”) inclusive.
    • All entries must be received by the Promoter by no later than 12:00 noon on the Closing Date. All entries received after the Closing Date are automatically disqualified.
    • The prize draw is entered through liking and sharing the post and signing up to watch the live awards ceremony on Wednesday 2 March.
    • There is no charge to enter the prize draw.
    • The Promoter will not accept:
      • responsibility for entries that are lost, mislaid, damaged or delayed in transit, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind; or
      • proof of transmission as proof of receipt of entry to the competition.
    • By submitting an entry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions.
    • The winner will be selected at random via an independent method from all qualifying entries.
  3. Eligibility
    • The event is open to any individual with a registered office, home address or place of business within the Liverpool City Region, except:
      • employees of the Promoter, or Merseytravel of 1 Mann Island, Liverpool, L3 1BP (“Merseytravel”);
      • employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or Merseytravel, who are professionally connected with the event or its administration; or
      • members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
    • In entering, you confirm that:
      • you are eligible to do so;
      • you have obtained all and any consents, permissions and authorisations that may be required;
      • your entry does not contain any third-party materials and/or content that you do not have permission to use;
      • your entry is not obscene, defamatory or in breach of any application legislation; and
      • you are eligible to and agree to grant to the Promoter the intellectual property rights detailed in Clause 8.

The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the prize draw.

  • Entrants can submit multiple different entries if desired.
  • The Promoter will not accept entries that are, in its reasonable opinion, submitted in breach of the declaration made under Clause 4.3.
  • The Promoter reserves all rights to disqualify any entrant whose conduct, in the reasonable opinion of the Promoter, is contrary to the spirit or intention of the event.
  1. The Prize
    • The winner will receive:
  • A Studio Room for Bed and Breakfast at the INNSiDE by Melia, Liverpool Hotel.
  • Cocktails in the Sky Lounge at the INNSiDE by Melia, Liverpool Hotel.
  • Dinner for 2 and champagne at Luban Restaurant, Liverpool
    • The prizes for the winner are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
    • The prize does not include travel insurance, the cost of transport to and from the venue(s), food and drink (other than as stated in the prize definition), spending money, tax or personal expenses. Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the prize are the responsibility of the winner.
  1. Winner
    • The decisions of the Promoter (or the judges nominated by the Promoter) are final and binding and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
    • The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond our control make it necessary to do so.
    • The winner may be required to participate in publicity related to the competition which may include the publication of their name and photograph in any media.
    • Entrants accept and agree that Personal Data supplied during the course of this prize draw may be passed on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the prize.
    • The winner will be announced during the award ceremony on Wednesday 2 March, and the winner will be posted on the Combined Authority Facebook page. The promoter will contact the winner via direct message on Facebook following the ceremony. Please allow 1-2 days for the promoter to contact the winner.
    • Following the announcement, the Promoter may publish the name of the winner on its website or any other medium whether now known or invented in the future.
    • Following the award event, the winner will be notified in writing. The winner must provide contact details (eg postal / email address / contact phone number) to claim their prize.
    • Information about how to redeem the prize will be sent to the winner within 30 days of being notified of their win.
  2. Limitation of liability
    • The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the event or any feature thereof at any time, with or without notice, where in the Promoter’s opinion it becomes necessary to do so.
    • Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate entrants or their representatives, or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of participating in the
  3. Ownership of entries and intellectual property rights
    • The Promoter does not claim any rights of ownership in your entry.
    • You agree that the Promoter may, but is not required to, publish your name website and any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the event.
    • All Entrants agree that the Promoter may, but is not required to, make their voice, image, photograph and name ( “Entrants’ Details”) available on its website and any other media, whether now known or invented in the future, and in connection with any publicity of the event.

    • If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude an entrant from participating in the event.
    • These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
