Combined Authority Publishes New Transport Plan

At its June meeting, the  Combined Authority published a Transport Plan, pulling together a range of plans and position statements, updated to clarify our main issues, challenges and priorities over the next few years.

The plan recognises that successful city regions have the infrastructure to move goods, services and people quickly and efficiently within and between them.

It sets out how the Combined Authority will work to create a fully integrated, modern and inclusive transport network that benefits everyone in the city region.  At the  same time, the Combined Authority is working to reduce the transport network’s impact on people and on the environment in order to support its commitments on the Climate Emergency, air quality and carbon emissions.
